The Poly V® is a longitudinal ribbed belt. It uses the friction between the ribs and the pulley grooves. Its single-bodied design makes the contact pressure between the pulley and the belt very consistent. It can accommodate large speed ratio application needs with up to 600kW to be transmitted, on a single Poly V® belt.

Economical, the Poly V® belt has an increased life span. Maintenance costs are reduced due to tension stability.

Compact, the ribbed Poly V® belt can be used with small pulley diameters (9mm).
Installation time is reduced (1 poly v® can replace 15 trapezoidals).
Serpentine layouts are possible as the belts are capable of transmitting power on both sides.
