When fitting Flexonic® belts the following design criteria must be followed. Shaft parallelism should not exceed 2 degrees; pulley alignment must be within 3mm per meter measured from center to center.

Tensioning a elastic belt is simple; indeed no tensioning is needed. Each Flexonic® belt application with fixed centers is designed so that the elastic ribbed belt can be fitted manually. After 6 minutes of running the belt tension can be checked using an electronic tension meter.
